Maiguai

The duo made up of Marisol Arévalo and Álvaro Vargas has been making music since 2018. They experiment with electronic sounds that merge with traditional rhythms of Latin American folklore. His inspiration comes from synthetic beats, psychedelic guitars, electronic rock, dance, nostalgia, social context and life itself. Maiguai's live musical proposal is vibrant and dynamic, inviting the public to immerse themselves in movement and dance. Your performance may include guest musicians on stage who perform percussion, accordion and bagpipes. His musical work includes 2 EPs. The first called FUEQUE and the second, released in 2022 called DVAL. Songs like Boquía, Qué mira?, María, Remando, la cumbia del Amor, Bien Faraway, among others, have managed to transmit to the public a dance energy with sounds that propose their own identity in Maiguai's music. His latest musical releases, released as singles, are part of the first full-length album called Marea, which will be released soon.
