Piel Camaleón is an alternative pop band from Bogotá, Colombia. Since their beginnings, they have been known for their danceable sound — with elements of funk and pop — complemented by dynamic guitars, electronic sonorities, and simple melodies influenced by alternative rock. Throughout their eight-year career, the band has performed at events such as Radioacktiva’s Jingle Bell Rock in 2018 and 2023, and festivals like Festival Hermoso Ruido in 2019 and 2023, and Día de Rock Colombia in 2020 and 2023. They have also supported acts like Little Jesus and Silvestre y La Naranja in Bogotá. They have toured nationally, visiting cities such as Medellín, Manizales, Pereira, Cali, and Ibagué. They participated in the 2022 edition of the Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, where they shared the main stage with renowned artists like The Libertines, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Foo Fighters. After a year of major performances in 2023 (Coliseo Medplus at Jingle Bell Rock, Boro Room at Festival Hermoso Ruido, and Teatro Jorge Eliécer Gaitán at the opening of the Bogoshorts 21 film festival), they are releasing their third full-length album and planning a tour of multiple cities for November 2024, with their first show in Mexico City.
