The Negro Tapes

Boom Bap, Rap, Negro Tapes, Jam! We are the most versatile rap group you will find in the Colombian capital. When we ride Jazz, Afro Beat, Cumbia or RnB: the flow never stops, we deliver bars, power and flavor. In our career we have done great things, and we have received a couple of recognitions, like: - Revelation Artist Award at the Zona 57 awards, - First position in Radionica's top 25 with the single "Modelo 90". - We were part on the "Bogotá Suena Vol. 4" compilation álbum with the single "Blues Tones". - First places in local festivals such as Hip Hop al Parque. - We were finalists in the Budweiser's BudXRecords contest, being the only group from Bogota in this contest. - We were part in the 25th anniversary conmemorative album of Hip Hop al Parque in Colombia and in the documentary "Bogotá Capital del RAP, Real a mi manera" as an alternative group in 2022. - Second place in the 2024 band contest organized by Páramo and Sánchez Cervecería. - We have been present in several editorial playlists such as República, on Spotify, Claro Music, Deezer and Amazon Music. The Negro Tapes live experience is an explosion: it is pure TNT power, and we do it in a way our public can enjoy ir: in Sound System, or with a full band format. We tell stories, we interact with the public and we give them "cremita" to rub their necks after so many hard beats.
