The Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB) will hold the eight version of the Bogotá Music Market (BOmm) on September 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2020, with the aim of supporting and strengthening the development of new businesses around the industry of music in Colombia. The BOmm is a networking space that is generated in Colombia to stimulate the creation of new businesses around the industry of the music.
Through this initiative, the CCB seeks that the musical content of the country can be presented to national and international brands, national and international agencies, record companies, international publishers, promoters of concerts and entrepreneurs of local circuits, among others. The BOmm is a market where artists can be guided towards the diversification of their businesses with a practical approach, access to results and billing so that the music sector finds new opportunities, new spaces of circulation and commercial alliances.
In its eight edition, this market is positioned as a platform for professional promotion and updating; a meeting space, the one-on-one meetings, to make agreements, alliances and businesses among local artists, composers, agents of industry and producers of musical content, to show their work to brands, agencies, publishers, bookers, national festivals and international and circuit entrepreneurs.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in specialized academic meetings according to the different areas of the sector, the BOmm Talks, whose purpose is to guide them and prepare them to tackle new business in the industry. In the same way, the showcases will be the space in which the selected artists will be able to present their artistic proposal live. The BOmm will end with the BOmm Labs, round tables and workshops with leaders of the national industry.
